Here are some men and women who mocked God:
JOHN LENNON:
Some years before during his interview with an American Magazine, he said:
"Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, Today we are more famous than Him" (1966).
Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.
TANCREDO NEVES (President of Brazil):
During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency. Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.
CAZUZA (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):
During a show in Canecão ( Rio de Janeiro ), whilst smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said: "God, that's for you."
He died at the age of 32 of AIDS in a horrible manner.
THE MAN WHO BUILT TITANIC:
After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he said: "Not even God can sink it"
The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic.
MARILYN MONROE:
She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He is a preacher and Evangelist and the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her.
After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said:
"I don't need your Jesus"
A week later, she was found dead in her apartment.
BON SCOTT:
The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang:
"Don't stop me, I'm going down all the way, wow the highway to
hell".
On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his vomit.
CAMPINAS/SP IN 2005
In Campinas, Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend. The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter - holding her hand, who was already seated in the car: "MY DAUGHTER, GO WITH GOD AND MAY HE PROTECT YOU", She responded: ONLY IF HE (GOD) TRAVELS IN THE BOOT, COZ INSIDE HERE IT'S ALREADY FULL"
Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the boot was intact.
The police said there was no way the boot could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the boot was a crate of eggs, none was broken.
Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus. Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive. JESUS!!!
Jesus said "If you get embarrassed about me, I will also get embarrassed about you before my father."
What benefit does it have, if a man gains the whole world but loses his soul?
What can man give in exchange of his soul? (Matthew 16:26).
This message is for the purpose of strengthening you.
The sad fact is some women, mothers, use their off spring to acquire means in this life. As tragic as this may seem .. it is NOT unique, nor is it strange or special. There are millions, nay .. billions of children who face this predicament each day, all over the world. And
have been since before Sarah told Abraham to impregnate her hand maiden Hagar; Which is
the root of the Middle East crisis today. The result of females using their children to
acquire means in this life.
But … sadly, this message IS NOT about your mother. Nor is it about you. Nor is it about
me. Nor is it about your brothers or sisters, those you know and those you don’t know.
Nor is it about anyone else that drinks water, breathes air, or has to sleep each day.
No, it’s not. It’s about GOD.
We will attempt to describe the reality of this life to you.
As a child, we all .. all of us .. look to what we have come to know as being the pattern
to expect for the rest of our lives. People with more possessions and easier challenges
yearn to keep what has come to be familiar as a permanent part of their life. That’s why
so many rich people miss God, and with with this in mind we will attempt
to convey to you how NO ONE can successfully live this life without God.
We want you to think in terms of
a 1000 year plan, and having 100 years to amass deeds to benefit yourself 1000 years from
now. Which - will be – the life after this one. Or the way we look at it … after this
training session is over. How much of this life will be valuable in God’s sight, and how
much will he regard as wasted. In the end all we’ll have to – not bargain with cause we
can’t bargain with God – rather , show to God and discuss, is our time in this life and
how we used it.
The success of this life is being a close friend of God’s. And how
can one be a friend to someone they never knew. And why would one invite someone in their
home for eternity that they’ve never become acquainted with. The bottom line is .. this
life is ALL about God. And you don’t want to get to the end of it and NOT know God.
At the point you are now in life .. you have accumulated enough experiences to be able to
converse in terms of things or circumstances one can control, change, effect, influence …
and those one must endure for a greater prize, and you now should have a vision of how
some things are completely beyond our or any one or group of people’s control. You could
look at your personal circumstance and say that “ it “ is a prime illustrator of these
descriptors and launch yourself head long into a fatal pity party. But what I’m saying
isn’t as small as your condition. Rather, what I’m speaking of is the reason and meaning
for ALL that mankind suffers and is challenged with, and the desired outcome of it all.
This life is a training ground for mankind to become acquainted with God, his ways of
doing things, his purpose for humans, and an undeniable or refutable test and open
display of what is REALLY in the heart of all of us. This test is designed to expose and
verify EXACTLY what we are made of and what our true intents are in our deepest most
being.
Now, what the tools are and how they’re used. If one is successful in developing a clear
and open relationship with God, one will find that nothing can be done in one’s own
strength. God didn’t give Mankind that type strength. He gave angels a measure of
strength, in varying degrees .. for the purpose of performing the - heavy lifting – if
you will .. in making God’s decrees materialize and stay in line with his desires.
Devils, Demons, and Satan refused to follow instruction. And … Satan , roasting in his
jealousy challenged God declaring and accusing mankind of being untrue to him and that he
– satan – could turn ALL men away from God finally proving their disloyalty and
unworthiness and giving reason for God to fulfill his wish for man .. to have God destroy
them all. Especially when He Satan was around before them and is much more worthy of
God’s favor than mankind could ever be. In Satan’s mind anyway.
But that’s not God’s plan. God made angels as workers. God made mankind to be his family.
The problem arises in mankind’s life when man tries to do the work of making the reality
man thinks should occur. This is NOT the way it’s set up. The way it’s set up is ..
mankind asks GOD for what he wants, God approves or disapproves, and the angels do the
heavy lifting of making what God decrees happen.
Now, we get into the art of the game. This is why the bible is Most Precious.
One who knows what the promises of God are and knows what God has already declared is
able to make statements, requests, promises, and declarations that they can be assured of
receiving. Personally mark out YOUR Bible showing you the KEY verses,
phrases, promises, and limitations set in place by God so YOU will be able to SPEAK the
reality you see fit to occur.
God made reality by speaking. Speaking is the tool to shape and affect reality. Genesis
1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said ….... .... God spoke, and the angels did the heavy lifting. That’s how
reality is set up. And that’s the role for mankind throughout ever created eternities to
come. God has given mankind the privilege of functioning in his creation as he does. All
things made are made beneath mankind as servants to obey man as they obey God.
Mankind’s job is to learn the boundaries of God’s tolerance, God’s desires for his
creation, and to perform the deeds God wants performed in his reality. When one has
attained adequate understanding of HOW NOT to offend God … Jesus has said clearly “ ask
what you will of the Father in my name and it will be done for you…”. It can’t get any
sweeter than that.
You’ve had some trying times you’ve had to face. What’s important here is that you
adopt and execute the correct, proper and victorious way of dealing, addressing, and
approaching life from THIS POINT forward.
You would have every right to build yourself a giant camp fire and throw yourself the
world’s greatest pity party ever known to mankind to this date. Some people do that.
Some people never get past that. But that’s not the type of blood you carry in your
veins. And that’s not the way God would ever lead his child in developing their posture for the
rest of this life.
What has happened to this point .. all of it .. is behind you. You can’t re-live any of
it. But you can forfeit or destroy your future by walking through life backwards. You
can’t see and prepare and address properly the future that is in arm’s length from you if
you’re not looking at it, anticipating it, and developing strategy to overwhelm and
dominate the near and far future. The things in the past, as tragic as they may be, are
in the past. You didn’t know then what you know now. Apply what you have learned from the
suffering toward making your and your children and your loved ones lives the best you can
pray them to be. Look back ONLY to learn, but stay focused on your strategies for the
future.
Read your Bible. Learn the rules, and dominate reality. Rule the world. Don’t let the
world rule you.
